At Mariella Montessori, we imagine a nurturing community where children, families, and educators grow side by side. Grounded in Dr. Maria Montessori's timeless principles, our learning environment is a place where curiosity is cherished, creativity is encouraged, and purposeful work fills each day with meaning. We integrate rich opportunities for creative exploration and guide the whole child in mind, hand, and heart. We believe learning is a shared journey, and by embracing parents and caregivers as partners, we support the growth of strong, thoughtful families who value lifelong learning. Through the interconnected environments of our Studio, Academia, and Collective, we strive to create a place where every person who walks through our doors feels inspired, empowered, and deeply connected.
We follow each child's natural curiosity and developmental pace, allowing them to explore subjects that captivate their interest.
Carefully curated spaces and materials encourage independence, concentration, and meaningful engagement.
Children learn from and with each other across age ranges, building leadership, empathy, and collaboration.
Sensorial materials and concrete experiences form the foundation for abstract thinking and deep understanding.
Through self-directed activity, children develop problem-solving skills and belief in their capabilities.
Social skills and respect for others are woven naturally into daily interactions and learning experiences.
At Mariella Montessori, we honor the foundations of traditional Montessori education while thoughtfully responding to the needs of today's children and families. Our work is rooted in respect for each child's development, curiosity, and individuality.
We believe meaningful learning happens when academic depth, creative expression, and human connection are woven together. Children are given time, space, and guidance to engage deeply with their work, while families are welcomed as partners in a shared learning journey.
Mariella Montessori is more than a place to attend classes; it is a learning community where independence is nurtured, creativity is valued, and relationships matter. From early childhood through elementary years and beyond, we offer an environment where learning grows naturally and authentically.
We named this space for Mariella, a dear friend and fellow Montessorian with whom the dream of building a Montessori school first took shape — a place where children could learn freely and feel deeply at home. Although she did not have the chance to see this dream realized, it lives on here today through the dedication and care of our growing community.
Mariella faced life's challenges with extraordinary courage, humor, and grace, meeting each day with a smile and an open heart. Inspired by her Peruvian heritage, the vibrant colors that fill this space reflect the warmth, joy, and richness she carried so naturally. They are woven into this community, shaping and inspiring us each day and all who gather here.
The Anthurium Mariella in our logo blooms in her honor. The flower is native to South America and is a symbol of lasting love, resilience, and the joy she brought into every life she touched.
